Bridge Dialog
November 1, 2001

To Whom it May Concern:

Dave contracted for Bridge Dialog in the capacity of developer from June 2001 until November 2001. He was instrumental in creating a successful client application involving telephony concepts, stored procedures, SQL, VXML, ASP and Visual Basic programming. His dedication, professionalism and drive for a quality product are proven and highly valued.

Having worked with Dave on past projects, I have always been impressed by the skill proficiency and broad knowledgebase that he brings to any project. However, I was most surprised by the speed with which he learned the core competencies required for the application - VXML and telecom / teleservices functionality. He said that he was up to the challenge of a short product cycle and, as with most projects, requirement shifts seemingly every week, he surpassed our expectations.

Overall, Dave is a conscientious and capable employee. I highly recommend him not only for his talent and skills but more for the intangible assets that he brings to a project such as thoroughness and flexibility.

Sincerely,
Sandra Cuasay
Director of Systems Engineering, Bridge Dialog

ShopTalk Networks

January 18th, 2001

To Whom it May Concern:

Dave Hansen has been employed as a software development contractor at ShopTalk Networks for about one year. ShopTalk Networks designs and implements voice-enabled phone applications for our clients. We are a technology leader in the construction of automated, telephone-based commerce systems.

Dave has played a crucial role in the specification, design, implementation, and support of our internal business support systems. He has mastered two application architectures in the performance of his tasks. Our previous architecture consisted of 4GL and database tiers in a classic client-server model. Dave enhanced and maintained several applications in this environment. He then participated in the enhancement and conversion of these applications to our new thin-client, Web-based, servlet/JSP architecture. In this role, he quickly attained proficiency in the new technology, and performed significant design and coding in the Java language.

Dave demonstrated many strengths that enabled him to make a huge impact on the success of this conversion. Firstly, he is an extremely quick learner, and has little problem understanding and applying new technology and languages. Secondly, he is a very careful and productive developer. Finally, he is very well-liked by both users and co-workers, which enables him to identify and resolve business and technical project issues.

I heartily recommend Dave Hansen to any organization that needs a thorough, professional systems developer. His strengths include specification, design, development, testing, and user training. His knowledge of Web technologies is extensive and experience-based.

Sincerely,
Dave Craigmile
Vice-President of Technology, ShopTalk Networks

Sears

To whom it may concern,

David Hansen worked on the Sears Import Initiative project from July 1996 through October 1997. I manage that project, and fill also the role of business analyst, so David and I had a good bit of contact. He assimilated to the team easily, and from the beginning, showed very real dedication to the project.

He was sought out for his technical skill, respected for quickly acquiring a good, working knowledge of the business, admired for his ability to understand complicated processes and translate them into code, and appreciated for his patience in mentoring less experienced staff members.

Our deadlines were aggressive, the system scope daunting. David put in long hours without complaint, and helped others willingly (even when that time meant later hours for him). He was a level head in pressure situations, and always kept a sense of humor.

It was enlightening, rewarding and enjoyable working with David. You can contact me if have specific questions.

Sincerely,
George P. McMahon
