CURRENT PROJECTS
Currently managing and taking a hands on role in the
design, implementation, and maintenance of a national consulting firm’s website
and extranet. Prior to its release,
client companies used extranet to access their company specific data. Interest in the company’s services has
greatly increased from potential clients that have previewed the extranet.
Volunteer head of technology taskforce charged with implementing
network, creating website and extranet and updating current software for a
large church.
SUCCESS STORIES
·
Developed and implemented a voice web
application that delivers voice messages to targeted customers and allow those
customers to retrieve their messages through a voice web platform. My object oriented approach allowed the
application to be quickly adapted for use with a variety of clients. This design greatly decreased the amount of
time needed to bring new clients online.
I also developed a solution that allowed sales people to initiate
message delivery while previewing the application to potential clients. My roles included: project lead, database
designer/developer, web developer.
·
Successfully managed and implemented a
website that created a marketing presence on the web for a nationwide mortgage servicing company which increased their orders from new and existing customers five
fold and decreased the order fulfillment and delivery time from seven to three
days. I also gathered and defined
requirements, created the project plan, and hired the consultants used for the
project. My roles included: project
manager, database designer/developer, web developer.
·
Created a Request For Proposal (RFP)
for a company that wanted to improve their web presence and offer additional
services to their customers. I led
meetings with President, CIO and key personnel to gather requirements. I refined requirements, designed data model,
and created flow diagrams for the RFP.
The RFP successfully triggered a number of qualified and consistent
proposals.
·
Successfully rolled out a Message
Processing application to eighty plus users at a Voice Automation company. I gathered requirements from the CIO and business
leaders of the four groups using the application, designed nine modules, coded
three of the modules, and worked with group leaders to ensure a smooth
implementation. Roles included: project
lead, database designer/developer, client/server and web developer.
·
Co-chairperson of the Easter Seals
DuPage Making Hope Become Reality Campaign
to raise $3.5 million. The campaign
exceeded expectations by raising nearly $4 million. The money built a state of the art pediatric therapeutic
center and bolstered center funds and programs.
I worked with civic and corporate leaders throughout campaign.
