Keep your products flowing!
Force Vector, the North American distributor, provides blockage clearing services by making use of the Cardox CO2 System. Maintaining a continuous flow of material is essential to the smooth running of most bulk materials storage operations and the running of high temperature kiln operations. Any form of build-up or blockage in these vessels represents a serious problem, which will undoubtedly result in expensive financial consequences.

Force Vector has a safe, efficient, and cost effective method for clearing all types of blockage. The Cardox CO2 rod safely removes deposits from kiln operations and other high temperature applications.

Used by major cement manufacturers, the Cardox System is the most efficient, reliable and cost effective method of clearing build-ups and blockages in rotary kilns, pre-heaters, cyclones and collar areas.

  Cement plant
Cardox can quickly remove build-ups and restore plant production to optimum levels at operating temperatures, alleviating stalled production times due to extended shut down times while equipment cools.
In Kilns and Related Facilities:
Cardox removes rings, chokes and tons of build up with a powerful blast of carbon dioxide.  Three or four blasts will bring you back to full capacity with little or no down time. It can be easily used in all areas of a manufacturing plant, including towers, blocked vessels and production lines. It can be used in all equipment at operating temperatures to safely remove deposit bottlenecks quickly.

Industry Solution for: Cement, Lime, Pulpwood and Precious Metal processing.

Cardox tubes with a lifetime of more than 10,000 can be rebuilt and reused over and over again. They can be quickly, fired, re-filled, and fired again as many times as needed to unclog materials.
Operation: Fast, safe and simple

Plug is removed from the Cardox Socket to reveal build-up of product. Cardox tube is placed in the tube holder, inserted into the socket and secured. The tube is then activated and removed to reveal the build-up has been completely cleared...within seconds

Benefits of the Cardox System in Kilns:

  • Reduces employee exposure to hot gases and process material
  • Eliminates dangers associated with shotgun and kiln ring removal
  • Flexible placement to apply force to the exact location of wherever the blockage may be.

"We have used the system twice. Once was an opportunity during a shut down and the second time for a break in a ring. This cut the kiln down time by at least 3 days so I have told my bosses that the system has already paid for itself." Pulp Mill Power Recovery Manager (Thailand)

Safety Features
The Cardox Tube is used from the outside of your equipment. Workers do not have to enter the clogged area, eliminating any danger from heat exposure, contaminated air or loosened materials. Because the Cardox Tube is secured in a sealed coupler assembly, your operators are not exposed to flying debris as can happen with water injection. They are not dangerously close to the blast area as with shotgun methods. Plant personnel operate from a safe distance while the real work is done.

Carbon dioxide is an inert gas that is commonly used in fire extinguishers, so it is safe to use without fear of generating secondary reaction with gases in the processing line. In addition, the quick release of the gas refrigerates the discharge, bringing it to a temperature low enough to avoid ignition of any air-gas mixtures inside the blocked vessel. After discharge the Cardox Tube is easily removed and replaced with a sealing plug that returns the equipment back to normal operation until the next time it is needed.

More Safety Features
As part of the Quick-Lock Coupling System, sockets are permanently mounted on your equipment wherever buildup is known or suspected. Using the mating Quick-Lock Tube Clamp, a sealed coupling is quickly achieved. The Cardox Tube is set at the desired depth and direction inside the vessel.

Efficiency
Unlike airblasters where cement plants complain of ineffectiveness and report losses of efficiency of up to 75%, using Cardox there is no loss in efficiency!

Each time you use a Cardox Tube you are guaranteed maximum pressure to remove the build-up. With a safe and powerful carbon dioxide blast one Cardox tube can remove tons of build-up and you're back up to running at full capacity, with little, or no downtime.

Quality
The Cardox System is fully approved by the UK Health & Safety Executive.
Cardox Tubes are manufactured to ISO9002 and also carry Rolls Royce Quality Assurance Approval.

Cost effective
Many of our customers report that the Cardox System pays for itself in no time at all. Cardox is only used when a build-up occurs and so the running costs can be very low. Also, maintenance costs are minimal.
