SCORING

Players
  • Points are totalled for 1 Quarterback, 2 Running Backs, 3 Receivers, and 1 Kicker each week. Tight Ends are considered Receivers in this league.
  • Starters must be given to the commissioner or co-commissioner before the start of that day's first game. During the weeks that Thursday Night and Saturday football graces us, owners may call in starters that play in that day's game. If not called in before the start of the Thursday or Saturday game, those players can not be started for the week. Monday night players must still be called in on Sunday.
  • Your starters from the previous week will be used if we're not notified of changes.

Totals are usually completed by Tuesday morning. Scoring will be done using Fantasy Football League Manager. If there is a discrepancy, NFL.com will be consulted. The commissioner and the co-commissioner compare notes on Tuesday afternoon. The commissioner will Post, Fax, or E-mail all reports to you by Wednesday morning. If you disagree with the score, please notify the commissioner right away (we're pretty close, but not quite perfect).

DRAFTING

  • Draft order is determined by draw before the night of the draft. The draft goes 1 - 12, 12 - 1, 1 - 12....
  • The A.C.Q.F.L. is not a keeper league. You will be drafting 14 players draft night in any order you choose.
  • Remember, tight ends are receivers. No defenses are picked.
  • The draft is one of the most enjoyable parts of the season. If you can't make the draft, let the commissioner know NOW. If you can't make the draft, you can still draft a team by providing a list to another owner or calling in to another owner.

TRADING

  • Trades are allowed (and encouraged) in the ACQFL. Players and draft picks may be traded. No money can be traded between coaches as part of deals.
  • A trade reviewing team made up of the commissioner, the co-commissioner, and an owner at-large will look at all trades for signs of deliberately helping another owner. We will not protect you from stupid trades. We will cancel trades that appear to be for the sole purpose of helping out another team. This is not something that happens much since we do this whole thing for enjoyment, but it gives us one more thing to look at.
  • Once a player has been traded to another team, he can not be traded directly back to the original team.
  • Trade deadline is kick-off of the fourteenth week.

FREE AGENT DRAFTS

  • A draft will take place after the fifth and tenth week of the season. The players chosen in the draft may be used starting the following week.
  • Draft order is based on cumulative score through the preceeding week. The lowest team drafts first, followed by next lowest score, etc. Same as first draft, the order reverses after every round.
  • Each owner must give up a player in order to draft a new player.
  • Owners must submit a list of players they would like in order of preference and a list of players to drop. When your draft position comes up, the first player still available on your list will be taken.

LEAGUES
Head To Head

The league is made up of three divisions with four teems. Each division winner and two wild cards make playoffs. Wild Card game is in week 15. In week 16, the winner of the wild card game will play the division winner with the best record. The two other division winners will also play. The winners in week 16 play for championship, losers play for third place.
Head To Head tie breakers
First ties within divisions are broken
  1. Record against teams tied
  2. Record within division
  3. Point differential among teams tied
  4. Point differential within division
  5. Overall point differential
Then ties for wild cards are broken
  1. Record against teams tied
  2. Point differential among teams tied
  3. Overall point differential

Playoff Tie-Breaker: Point totals for individual players on bench.

Along with playoff starting line-up, coaches submit a list of their back-ups for breaking ties. If starters tie, then the two teams' top back-up is compared. The team with the higher total for the first player in list wins. If they are tied, we go to the next back-up on list. This continues until we have a winner. If all back-up players on list tie, then we flip a coin.
